Family Galaxy Band

This was one chunky ring! Made using my clients old gold and stones. The left over gold was used as credit towards the cost of the remodel.

This ring tells the story of one incredible family through astrology, birthstones, and heirloom gold.

Diamonds – Aries
Representing the client, her son, grandson, and granddaughter.

Emerald – Taurus
Representing her husband, son, and granddaughter.

Sapphire – Virgo
Representing her daughter. This sapphire was carefully removed from her mum’s favourite ring before we melted the gold down to create her bangle, allowing a treasured family heirloom to live on in a new way.

Alexandrite – Gemini
Representing her mum and granddaughter. A beautiful coincidence—they were both born under the same moon phase, 77 years apart.

Ruby – Cancer
Representing her late grandmother. Her birthstone is set as a tiny shooting star, making it one of the most meaningful details in the piece.

Jewellery like this is so much more than gold and gemstones. It’s a wearable family story, designed to be treasured for generations.

And if the family grows? We’ll just have to add a few more stones.
